It is always interesting to look at sales by print point and city. This chart shows the January 2015 sales in each category. The 8 single family home sales in Boulder last month really caught my eye. Other Boulder area market stastistics to look at right now are that detached home sales dropped 7.2 percent in January 2015 compared to January 2014; 166 units versus 179 units. The year to year inventory of detached homes for sale in January 2015 dropped 13.5 percent compared to January 2014; 755 units versus 873 units. We thought inventory was low last year, but it’s even lower at the start of this year.
We are seeing inventory bump up just slightly (though homes are going under contract quickly) so hopefully more inventory continues to pop up this Spring. Should be another interesting year!
