Boulder County Subdivision Paving Local Improvement District (LID) Dissolved and Refunds to be issued

Boulder County formed a Subdivision Paving Local Improvement District (LID) back in 2013 to address the needed reconstruction of nearly 150 miles of paved roads in 118 unincorporated subdivisions. The LID, which provided a funding mechanism to be used to rehabilitate unincorporated subdivision roads over 15 years, was dissolved in a court ruling on July 25, 2014.

The county has accepted the court’s decision and is moving ahead with returning all paid assessments to property owners (with interest) and removing the liens from all District properties.

Check out the county web site for more information or to check on the status of your property if you live in an area with this special assessment.
