I work with both buyers and sellers on a daily basis, but do specialize in representing buyers. Assisting them in one of the most important purchases of their lives. Why? It is extremely satisfying, and fun!
The “hunt” for a home, both online and on foot is an amazing process. Getting to know what clients are looking for in a home also allows me to get to know them better as an individual/family. I know the feeling of buying and selling your own home (been there and done that). There are a lot of emotions involved. I do my best to focus on listening to what my clients are looking for; what gets them excited, and what are their turnoffs to potential homes. Reading between the lines makes me a good ABR®. Just ask my husband how many times I’ve said “That house I am going to take them to see tomorrow, it’s the one” and it is.
I take pride in searching out the right home and staying in constant contact during and after a home search. I love to share information about my community, not just real estate statistics. Boulder County offers an amazing variety of housing options and it takes some navigating through inventory to make a good match. I always put the wants and needs of my clients first.
Not long after becoming a Realtor back in 2004 I decided to pursue the Accredited Buyer’s Representative Designation through the National Association of Realtors and the Real Estate Buyer’s Agent Council. Even though buyer representation is now largely available to home buyers across the country, it wasn’t always so. As an advocate of home buyers, REBAC has played a key role in creating that change—helping home buyers receive the same level of representation in real estate transactions that was previously only awarded to sellers.
I continue to hone my skills as a buyer’s agent through continuing education and training. Another one of my favorite parts of the job. A big thank you to all my clients who allow me to do something that I love and enjoy every day!
